Forest Fire Risk Management Information System – (FFRMIS)
Forest fires are one of the main causes of deterioration and destruction of woodland heritage. The size of the phenomenon although differentiated depending on places and season has constantly been on increase over the last years.
Emphasis Telematics designed FFRMIS allowing for better management and handling of Forest Fires. The FFRMIS has been installed on the Ionian Islands Regional Fire Service and put in operation on May 2007.
