Incident administration by EYDAP

Emphasis Telematics has completed at EYDAP the project related to the automatic administration of incident calls. Calls received by phone through the 1022 number and relate to the sewage network, once they are forwarded to the relevant geographic sector (Attica is divided in 5 sectors), the most suitable vehicle in selected to which the repair order is assigned, and automatically the incident information appears on a tabletPC installed within the vehicle, while at the same time the call information is printed on a special printer.
This way the repair crew in each vehicle has immediate and detailed access to the information of the incident assigned to them. Also, the notification on the resolution or not of a repair is easily sent through the same tabletPC.
To implement the system, an online integration was needed to EYDAP’s internal web portal.
Some of the important benefits from the application of the system are the direct communication of the incident information to the vehicle and in general the simplification of communication with the crews, resulting in better customer service.
